El Dr. Edgar Del Toro Diez es un cirujano con doble formación en Cirugía Plástica Facial y Reconstructiva, y Otorrinolaringología — Cirugía de Cabeza y Cuello, dedicado a ofrecer atención quirúrgica de clase mundial a pacientes en Puerto Rico y más allá. Completó su formación médica y de residencia en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, seguida de un fellowship en Cirugía Plástica Facial y Reconstructiva en Penn State College of Medicine, donde se formó junto a un profesorado de reconocimiento nacional. Su experiencia clínica abarca la rinoplastia estética y funcional, la cirugía de lifting facial, la cirugía de reanimación y parálisis facial, la reconstrucción post cirugía de Mohs y el trauma facial, entre muchos otros procedimientos.

El Dr. Del Toro Diez aborda cada procedimiento con la precisión de un cirujano y la sensibilidad de un artista, entendiendo que el rostro no es solo una estructura funcional, sino una expresión profundamente personal de la identidad, y que la verdadera excelencia quirúrgica requiere tanto dominio técnico como una visión estética innata. Regresa a su hogar en Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, donde se incorporará a una práctica establecida para servir a su comunidad con el más alto nivel de atención quirúrgica facial especializada.

Dr. Edgar Del Toro Diez is a dual-trained Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Otolaryngologist — Head and Neck Surgeon dedicated to delivering world-class surgical care to patients in Puerto Rico and beyond. He completed his medical and residency training at the University of Puerto Rico, followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Penn State College of Medicine, where he trained under nationally recognized faculty. His clinical expertise spans cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, facial reanimation and paralysis surgery, Mohs reconstruction, and facial trauma, among many other procedures.

Dr. Del Toro Diez approaches every procedure with the precision of a surgeon and the sensibility of an artist — understanding that the face is not only a functional structure but a deeply personal expression of identity, and that true surgical excellence requires both technical mastery and an innate aesthetic vision. He is returning home to Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, where he will be joining an established practice to serve his community with the highest level of specialized facial surgical care.
